How the game works
Each rescue is a little workbench board. Wind up your toy and it walks straight ahead, one tile for each step of winding. Get it home, through the house's one door, before the winding runs out.
Drag tools from the tray onto the board, then tap Wind & go to watch. Arrows turn the toy; tap one to change its direction. Bridges fit the brass sockets over gaps and carry the toy only the way their arrow points. A spring gives four more steps, once per run. In the Adventure, a hop pad sends the toy bounding over the next tile in a single step — over a hole, a gap or another piece, but never over the house.
Only one tool fits on each spot. Try again keeps your arrangement; Undo and Clear board help you experiment. Drag empty board space to turn the view, pinch to zoom, and tap Board to return to the overview.
Common questions
What is a Neat finish?
Bring the toy home using no more tools than the rescue's target and it earns a star. Every rescue has spare tools, so finding the tidy route is the real puzzle. Replay any rescue to chase its star; your best result is kept.
I'm stuck. Can I see the answer?
Yes. Tap Solution beside Clear board and confirm. Every piece of a working solution goes on the board; tap Wind & go to watch it, or Undo to bring back your own arrangement. The rescue still counts, but it earns no Neat finish star and does not count on the leaderboards until you solve it on your own.
What is free, and what is the Adventure?
The 16 Warm-up rescues are free and teach every tool. The Adventure is a single one-time purchase that opens 120 harder rescues across twelve chapters, along with the hop pad. There is no subscription and there are no ads.
I bought the Adventure on another device, or it locked again
Open Your journey (the map button), tap Adventure, and tap Restore. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this works on a new iPhone or iPad too. If it still does not open, email us.
Can I choose a different toy?
Yes. Tap the toy button above the board to choose Wickle, Pip the rabbit, or Moss the turtle. All three share the same rescues and solutions.
Where are the leaderboards?
Wickle uses Game Center. If you are signed in, open Your journey and tap the trophy. One leaderboard counts rescues solved on your own, the other Neat finishes, and there are achievements for every chapter. Signed out, the game plays exactly the same.
My progress is gone
Progress is stored on your device only, so deleting the app deletes it, and it does not follow you to a new device except through your own device backup. We do not keep a copy, which means we cannot restore it. Your Adventure purchase is never lost: use Restore.
The motion bothers me
Wickle follows the system Reduce Motion setting in Settings › Accessibility › Motion. With it on, the camera keeps to the overview during a run and the celebration hops and confetti are removed.
Can I play without dragging?
Yes. With VoiceOver, the tray tools offer an Arrange without dragging action that opens a list of every spot on the board, where you can place, turn, and remove tools, or show the solution.
Requirements
Wickle runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later. Everything except Game Center and purchases works offline, with no account and no sign-in.

What the game does and does not handle is written in plain language in the Wickle privacy notice.
