How the game works

Four silicone molds sit on the board, each with a shape cut into it. The tray offers three jelly pieces at a time. Drag a piece into any mold where it fits, or use Tap to place for bigger targets and a preview before you commit. Fill every space in a mold and the whole casting pops out, leaving a fresh, empty shape behind.

Mold colours are decoration: any piece fits any mold where its shape allows. Pieces do not rotate. Use all three pieces to receive a new tray. The run ends when none of the remaining pieces fits anywhere.

Each placed square is worth one point, and completing a mold adds three points per square in its shape. Pop a second mold within four moves of the first and that bonus doubles; keep the chain going and it triples, then quadruples, up to five times. The badge under your score shows the chain and how many moves you have left to extend it. The trick is to bring several molds close to full, then release them one after another.

Common questions

No piece fits. Is that it?

Once per run you can take a rescue: watch a short ad and your remaining pieces become single blocks, which fit almost anywhere. Your score and molds stay exactly as they were. You can always start a new game instead, without watching anything. If you own Remove Ads, the rescue is free.

When do ads appear?

Only between runs, when you start a new one, and never in your first few runs of a session. Nothing appears during play, and nothing appears in the Daily Mold. The rescue ad is separate and only ever shown because you chose it.

I bought Remove Ads and the ads came back

Open Remove Ads from the end-of-run screen or from the Help screen and tap Restore Purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this also restores them on a new iPhone. If it still does not take, email us.

What is the Daily Mold?

Tap the calendar button. Every player in the world gets the same board and the same pieces that day. It changes at midnight UTC. Play it as many times as you like; your best score for the day is what counts. Your own endless run is kept separately and is waiting where you left it.

How does the streak work?

The streak counts consecutive days on which you opened the Daily Mold. You do not have to finish it, or do well. Miss a day and the count starts again from one; your longest streak is remembered.

Which difficulty should I play?

Tap the difficulty under your score. Relaxed deals smaller pieces and helps more with tight spaces. Classic is the original balance. Expert deals larger pieces and helps less. Each keeps its own best score, so trying another costs you nothing.

Where are the leaderboards?

SnugPop uses Game Center. If you are signed in on your iPhone, scores go to a leaderboard for each difficulty and one for the Daily Mold, and there are achievements to earn. Open them from the end-of-run screen or from Help. If you are signed out, the game plays exactly the same; Help simply notes that scores are not being ranked.

My progress is gone

Progress is stored on your device only, so deleting the app deletes it, and it does not follow you to a new phone. We do not keep a copy, which means we cannot restore it — that is the trade for a game that needs no account and collects nothing.

Can I turn off sound or haptics?

Yes — the speaker button in the header toggles sound, and both Sound and Gentle haptics are switches on the Help screen.

The motion bothers me

SnugPop follows the system Reduce Motion setting in iOS Settings › Accessibility › Motion. With it on, a completed mold fades instead of lifting away.

Does it work with VoiceOver and larger text?

Yes. Every mold, piece, and cell is described, Tap to place gives large targets and a preview, and the layout follows Dynamic Type up to the largest accessibility sizes. Increase Contrast and Differentiate Without Colour are honoured too.

Requirements

SnugPop runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later, in portrait. Everything except ads and Game Center works offline, with no account and no sign-in.
