How the game works

Every puzzle you win earns one renovation point. Spend points on the improvements in each place, one at a time, and choose a design for the ones that offer a choice. Finished places open the next, and the town of Bellhaven slowly comes back to life across 36 places in six acts.

In a puzzle, swap two neighboring pieces to line up three or more of a kind. There is no timer: collect the goals shown at the top before you run out of moves. Match four in a line for a sweep, an L or T shape for a bloom bomb, and five in a line for a color lantern. Swap two specials together for a bigger effect. Later puzzles add dust to clean by matching on it and crates to open by matching beside them.

Common questions

What is free, and what does the purchase unlock?

Bellhaven, the main story, is free in full: all 36 places, every design and its ending. Larkhaven and Sunward Cove are two more stories you can reach from the globe button. Each one lets you play its first scene and read its first journal pages for free. A single one-time purchase unlocks both stories completely. There are no ads, no subscriptions, no energy and no paid retries.

I'm stuck on a puzzle

Tap Show a move beneath the board to see a swap that works. If you run out of moves, try again as often as you like: each retry of the same puzzle adds two extra moves, up to six, and nothing is ever charged.

I bought the stories on another device, or they locked again

Tap the globe button, choose Larkhaven or Sunward Cove, and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are tied to your Apple Account, so this works on a new iPhone or iPad too. If it still does not open, email us.

Can I change a design after I chose it?

Yes. Restyling a finished improvement is always free. Open the place and choose a new design from its collection.

How do I keep my progress when I change devices?

Progress is stored on your device only. Before you switch, open Settings, tap Save a progress backup and save the file to Files or iCloud Drive. On the new device, open Settings and tap Restore a backup. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot restore a deleted save for you. Your story purchase is never lost: use Restore purchases.

Can I turn off the sound or the motion?

Yes. Settings has Gentle sounds and Reduce motion. The game also follows the system Reduce Motion setting in Settings › Accessibility › Motion.

Requirements

Room for Wonder runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or later. Everything except purchases works offline, with no account and no sign-in.
